Fertile Ground honors Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month in October! Join us as we raise awareness & donations to support women and families dealing with loss.

Race day is October 26th so make sure you register now for the race and order your race day t-shirt!
Registration: $25.00/person
Register your team and bring your run club or your family out for a walk or run on the Greenway!
Children under 5 years of age can participate in the race for free!
Any kids that show up wearing their teams' jerseys can participate in the race for free!
We will meet at the Clarks Creek and Mallard Creek Greenway Parking lot at:
Mallard Creek Elementary School
9801 Mallard Creek Road
Charlotte, NC 28262
Early check in begins at 10:30 am (in the parking lot)
Race & Festival begins at 11 am
We will have our registration table open for check in, a couple of vendors for shopping, music and more! Bring your family out to enjoy the festivities with us!
We will have a Trunk of Treat for the kids, a Mini Farmers Market where you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, food trucks, and other activities for the family to enjoy!
Upon your arrival if already registered you will proceed to the check in table where you will receive your "Race Day Bag" which will include:
Bottled Water
Snack
First Aid Items in case needed
Your Race Day Number
Please make sure you check in when you arrive so that you can receive your number and race bag prior to the start.
The race will begin at the Mallard Creek Greenway entrance (in the Mallard Creek Greenway Parking Lot) which will be marked by an arch! Race check in will begin at 11 am.

On Race Day the Foundation will be supporting our partner Block Love Charlotte by hosting a Coat Drive! If you have any old coats that you would like to donate, please bring them out and you can participate in the race for free with your donation!
The Block Love Vision is to improve the quality of life for those individuals that suffer from homelessness, domestic violence and single fathers; one block at a time in our communities. We shall partnership with other business and agencies for resources and make a difference in communities globally.
Block Love is also in need of waters, Gatorades, drinks, snack crackers, wrapped cookies, fresh fruit or fruit cups, potato chips, pop-top canned foods like sardines, Vienna sausages, tuna, and soups. Monetary donations can be made below or via cashapp at $blockloveclt or email us at team@blockloveclt.org for mailing.

On Race & Festival Day our partner Mecklenburg County Health will be out supporting the foundation by helping us to raise awareness around Maternal Health in Charlotte!
The Maternal & Child Health division of Mecklenburg County Health will come out and provide information and resources to the attendees at this years Festival & 5k! The Maternal & Child Health Division provides early and regular prenatal and postpartum care to protect the health of mothers and children.
